Search HintsThe Computerized Ancestor is where I had my big breakthrough site in searching my great-grandmother's ancestry. Family lore was that her father's name was Theodore Burns and her mother's name was Delilah Hall. As it turns out, her father was Mathew Theodore Burns and her mother was Delilah Cummins. Delilah's mother was Sarah Hall. Nevertheless, I found Mathew and Delilah at this site. One great feature of this site is that you can see all the names submitted by a researcher. Once I found Mathew and Delilah, I then had a list of names that eventually connected my great-grandmother to the Quakers in the 1600's. Ancestor searches on name and spouse's name are available at this site. The date and location searching is fairly weak. Your best bet is to search for a person whose spouse's first and last name are known. How to Search Computerized Ancestor for Family Trees
