  FAQ: I entered an ancestor, but now the screen is stuck on "Preparing Searches." What should I do?

If you are using a firewall, particularly the Symantec Norton Personal Firewall, that might be the problem. Click here for more instructions concerning the Norton Personal Firewall.

The other reason, might be because the JavaScript file used in that frame did not download completely. Try placing your cursor in that area of the screen, press your right mouse button, and select "Refresh" for Microsoft Internet Explorer or "Reload Frame" for Netscape.
